Jacqueline

"Jacqueline was 17 working on a desk,
When Ivor peered over a spectacle,
forgot that he had wrecked a girl"

Jacqueline by Franz Ferdinand

---------------------------------------------------------

I worked really hard on this.
Even recolouring it again because I messed up the face form and structure the first time through.
Satisfied with this for now.

I Swear To God I'm Working

This is probably what designers or creative people look like to non-creative people... Escpecially if they share the same office.

I did this early this year and have finally decided that it looks good enough un-coloured to be revealed to the world.

So, ta-dah~

Lovely Insanity

"There is only one difference between a madman and me.
The madman thinks he is sane.
I know I am mad."
- Salvador Dali -

On another note, I just noticed that it kinda resembles Freud's iceberg theory.

This took longer than expected. See if you can find the cat/dragon creature from And Your Bird Can Sing.

And Your Bird Can Sing

you tell me that you've heard every sound there is,
and your bird can swing.
but you can't hear me,
no, you can't hear me.

And Your Bird Can Sing - The Beatles.

That lil' bird singing at the bottom first appeared here.

And I just realized this CRAZY coincidence when i was writing this:
"You say you've seen seven wonders
And your bird is GREEN "

She's Got You High

I understand that Mumm-Ra is the villain from Thundercats. But I'm refering to the band Mumm-Ra which incidentally is named after Mumm-Ra of Thundercats.

I'm trying to include more human figures in my doodles, because I realized that faces or something with a face tells a better story than just random objects. Also trying out a new approach to colouring.

Line art done traditionally using pen and then coloured in Photoshop.
